Lip scrubs are in trend right now and for good reasons I would say. It is important that we scrub off the excess dead skin cells. As winter is fast approaching most of us are probably hoarding on lip balm, oils etc. but a lip scrub can always increase the efficacy of any balm or lip product. So recently I have discovered this lip scrub from an Indian skincare brand Bella Vita Organic and today I am here to share my experience with you all. Now let’s get into the deets.

Packaging
NicoLips lip scrub has a very cute compact packaging. It comes in a glass jar with black plastic lid Bella Vita Organi’s logo on the lid. It is a tiny but pretty heavy tub for the size, which adds a luxe touch to the whole packaging. The product itself is rich red hued gel with very tiny soft scrubbing beads in it. Using this baby is a beautiful experience.

My Experience
As I have mentioned before Bella Vita Organic’s NicoLips lip scrub balm is a gel like balmy lip scrub which has a gorgeous hue of red. Even it smells super deliciously fruity and kinda sweet. A very tiny bit of this scrub is required to scrub off and hydrate your lips. I feel it works the best when used on slightly damp lips. The walnut and oat granules seem pretty rounded than with harsh & sharp, uneven edges, they feel soft on lips which is great actually. I like to follow the directions, so I gently massage the product on my lips first and then I keep it for at least 2 minutes before washing it off. Initially I just felt the softness it added to my lips, there was no flakiness, this baby removed it all. I like how well my regular lip balm works after a nice scrubbing session with NicoLips. Even though I do not have a lot of lip pigmentation but it is very common to have a slight discoloration on the upper lip, something which we all South Asians do. In that case this NicoLips lip scrub balm helps to remove that darkness. Even though it is absolutely normal to have a bit of darker lips but a lip scrub that doubles up as something like this is great. So with time I did see that discoloration fading away and in turn my lips became even softer. I feel it is a great scrub for those with discolored or dry lips. In this winter this will be very effective for everyone.
