All you need for this is clean whole oranges and a fine grater. First wash the oranges, wipe off the water with a cloth. Now grate the orange peel using the grater to get a smoothly grated orange peel. Make sure you don’t rub harshly. Do it till all the peels are grated off the fruit. Now leave the grated peels in sun for one to two days till they turn crisp, then grind them to a coarse powder. That’s it, you have your own citrus powder. Store it in a clean container.   1. Orange peel powder – 2 tbsp
  2. Red lentils/Masoor dal (coarsely ground) – 1 tbsp
  3. Gram flour/Besan – 1 tbsp

Mix them together and store in an air tight container. At the time of using just take some of this dry scrub mixture and add a little water to make a thick paste. Then use it on your face and body massaging in a circular motion for three to four minutes and then wash it off.
