Good Vibes Lip Balm : Pina Colada Review
A soft, creamy lip balm with buttery texture. This pina colada flavored one has a very mild fruity refreshing kinda scent with some citrus tones, more like pineapples with some lemons. Great for those who are trying to get soft, pink lips as it prevents lips from darkening and removes existing pigmentation which gives smoother lips.
Price and Availability
All Good Vibes products are exclusively available on Purplle. There is a variety of flavours available for this lip balm. I have got the Pina Colada variant because pinapple gives me a fruity summer vibe. These are priced at Rs.125 for 8 g of product. I purchased this on a sale at Rs.88 only.
Packaging
The Good Vibes Pina Colada lip balm comes in a cute tub pack with a golden lid which bears the logo of the brand. The tub is colourless so you can see the colour of the balm inside. This entire thing comes in a thin cardboard outer packaging which bears the logo in the front and rest of the details like ingredients, cautions etc. are written on the back side. All in all its a very secure and cute little packaging that you will love to carry it with you all the time. The tub packaging can seem a bit messy when travelling though, but every other lip balm these days have the similar packaging so it did not bother me that much.
Claims
Good Vibes is an emerging brand. They use natural ingredients in their products. This lip balm is also no exception. The brand claims that this lip balm "leaves a mesmerizing fragrance, helps lip remin crack free, refreshes and hydrates" which is very simple and pretty much basic for any lip balm.
Ingredients
The outer cardboard box has only the key ingredients written on it. Well I prefer a full list of ingredients or at least mentioning that it is free from parabens, toxins etc. but no, there's no such label. The key ingredients are "Beeswax, Sunflower Oil, Cocoa Butter, Cold Pressed Coconut Oil, Vitamin E, lemon Essential Oil, Pineapple Extract."
My Experience
I love to use natural ingredients for my skin care. The key ingredients used in this lip balm are really good for hydrating the lips and keeping them crack free. So it does what it claims. I saw the results within two days to be very honest. Also the very faint fruity smell is really great for summers. I like my products fragrance free, so the very mild but uplifting citrus smell with a hint of cocoa butter is just the perfect, won't bother sensitive noses like mine. It has a very smooth and thick texture. The colour is very pale yellow, another good thing because artificial colours do no good to our lips. When I apply it glides on very smoothly on my lips. I like to massage it for a few seconds and then leave it on. It has healed my cracked and dehydrated lips. I did not use any lip balm for a few weeks before getting this one so my lips were crying of hydration. So it does what it claims. Another great thing is this does not look glossy glossy on lips so it can be safely used under liquid lipsticks. Now, coming to the most important part, my lips are lightly pigmented, so I asked my family members to use it. They claimed this one actually intensified their lip pigmentation and honestly that extra darkening effect vanish within a few days of discontinuing this one. So I liked this product and I was very happy with my new purchase until I got to learn this horrible truth about this. I wanted to try their other variants but now I think I should stay away from these because they do have some harmful ingredients. Not gonna buy nor gonna recommend. Thankfully it did not intensified my lip pigmentation, so I guess it works differently on different people.

Rating
2.5/5Do I recommend ?
Yes, I personally prefer this one over baby lips. Baby Lips are good but they dry out my lips even more. I did not experience darkening of lips but other people in my family did so I do not recommend it to those with pigmented lips. Will I repurchase?
Not anytime soon there are better brand that disclose ingredients.
