I love to experiment with my hair, try different hair trends and styles. So I experience frizz, hair fall due to breakage, dull lifeless hair and split ends. Ingredients

  1. Coconut oil 
  2. Olive oil
  3. Dried amla (Indian Gooseberry)
  4. Dried hibiscus petal
  5. Dried curry leaves
  6. Fenugreek/Methi seeds

You can buy these things from local stores or online, some are available in the kitchen and garden. I used cooking oils for this purpose from my kitchen because most of the hair oils available in the market uses mineral oil which is very harmful. It works better when the oil is pure. Rest of the stuffs are organic. Hibiscus petals and curry leaves were collected from my garden from organically grown plants.

How To Make


In an air tight bottle mix Olive and Coconut oil in 2:1 ratio i.e. two parts of olive oil with one part of coconut oil. Now add all the dry ingredients, a heaped spoonful of each, close the lid and shake everything together for a few seconds, then place the bottle in warm water bath and leave it there for 15 to 20 minutes. Your oil is almost ready now. For best results leave it in the soft morning sun only for a few hours everyday for a whole week. Your oil is now ready to use. You will notice the changes in a month or so after consistent usage.
