Nykaa Eyes On Me Eye Shadow 10 Pan Palette
– Best Affordable Eyeshadow Palette In India?
Nykaa has launched another set of eye shadow palettes recently. Five different colour coordinated palettes with matte and shimmer shadows these palettes have 10 shades each. The Smokey At 8! palette is a great palette with some neutral mattes and shimmers. Perfect for everyone.
Nykaa has launched their new eyeshadow collection few months back, I have been planning to get one fromt his new collection ever since the launch. The most basic palette with browns, nudes, a black and some shimmers is the Smokey At 8! so I got it as a replacement for my Maybelline The Nudes palette because that one got expired recently. I think this one is a pretty good due for the Nudes palette. So without any further do, let’s get started.
Price & Availability
These palettes are priced at Rs.599 but I got it on a sale for Rs.449 only. Exclusively available on Nykaa. Click here to get it.
Packaging
Ten eye shadows placed one after another, these new palettes have a long rectangular packaging. It also has a Double sided cushioned applicator included. They have an outer cardboard packaging too, which bears the name, the ingredients and all other details of the product. The plastic packaging seem quite flimsy than sturdy. It shuts with a click but then opens really easily, without much of an effort. Other than that I love how it looks.
Claims
The label on the back of the outer packaging says “Learn the art of mesmerizing eye contact with Nykaa 10 in Eyeshadow Palette. These shadows are rich in colour and are easy to blend. The mattes and shimmer are cocktailed to give you the ultimate palatte for a chic look. The mattes are velvety vibrant, the shimmers are full of sparkle. They are all highly-pigmented and blend like butter. So let your eyes tell your story with this palette.

Review and Swatch
Well, to begin with the review I want to directly come to point and say that I totally agree with all the claims. Whatever Nykaa claims for this palette are true. All the shades are pigmented, the colour pay-off is good, they blend beautifully and the pigmentation is buildable, the mattes are soft and the shimmers are buttery, they glide on top of the skin smoothly and the best part is that working with this palette feels really really good. Apart from all these things what I really like about this particular palette Smokey At 8! is the colour selection. It has six matte shades out of which one is black, two browns – one is warm toned, the other is cool toned brown, three nude transition shades – one peach toned and one pink toned and one neutral beige toned. The four shimmers are gold, bronze, copper and nude/rose gold. The only missing shades are ashy tones which I think would have been a great inclusion. Anyways this single palette can serve your absolute basic needs for eye makeup, from nude to glam, day to night. Nykaa Smokey At 8! palette is definitely one of the best nudes or basic palette for the price and the colours it has. I highly recommend this Smokey At 8! variant to all the beginners out there looking for a nude eyeshadow palette. This will serve your purpose perfectly.
