My Experience
I have normal to dry skin on my body but winters are a bit harsh on my skin. So I always invest ina good body oil or butter depending upon my skin’s need at that time. So I have tried all four variants of Deyga Body Butters. Honestly, I love each one of these butters, it is impossible for me to just pick one absolute favorite.
As I have mentioned before these butters are different in terms of texture, hydration and moisturization and none of these feel greasy. So you can actually pick one for summer, one for winter according to your skin’s needs.
Also these are blend of raw organic butters and oils which makes them very very rich. Hence you need very less quantity for your whole body. Needless to say that a tub of this will last you really long.
The Unscented Body Butter is the most buttery one in terms of texture. It is exactly like thick and raw butter that does not melt at room temperature but melts instantly when rubbed in between your palms. Easy to use, gets absorbed into the skin with a bit of massage. The best part is that I feel absolutely nothing is left on top of my skin after around 10 minutes or so, but my skin feels deeply moisturized, soft & plump and stays like that for the whole day! It gives a healthy skin which looks radiant and dewy, visible lines and wrinkles on neck and hands look less prominent, so it does what it claims. This butter has no added scent/fragrance but it has a faint aroma of the natural oils & butters it contains. It is free from essential oils(EOs) which makes it the ideal option for those with fragrance, EO sensitivity or sensitive skin. I recommend it to mature skin people as mango butter is highly effective to plump up wrinkles and fine lines.
If you are someone who loves aromatherapy or floral fragrances like me, then Deyga Rose & Geranium Body Butter is going to be your best pick. I literally feel like I am standing in a rose garden every time I use this butter. The fragrance is divine, lasts for around 2 hours. The best part is that it slowly releases the warm woody notes after the top rose flower notes and then fades into some misty-floral scent after 2 hours. My entire bathroom, bedroom smells of this butter and that fragrance does not vanish easily, it stays. For me this is the ultimate aromatherapy product I have ever used. This butter has a peachy-pink tone to it. The texture is velvety soft with some tiny invisible butter granules which melt when massaged. This is the driest butter among all four of these but when I need more moisturization and I apply this in more amount it feels heavy on my skin. Basically this one is more hydrating than moisturizing but it’s definitely heavy-duty, stays put all day long. At the end of the day my skin still looks plump and radiant. So this one really rejuvenates the skin while nourishing it from within. I highly recommend this to dehydrated skin type people and to those who love aromatherapy, essential oils. This will give you an amazing spa like experience at home, everyday.
Now comes the most delicious smelling product which is the Chocolate Body Butter. This one is the creamiest and the most velvety soft body butter here. It looks like thick whipped milk chocolate, smells like hot cocoa. The chocolaty fragrance lasts moderately long which slowly fades into a sweet scent. The butter gets absorbed really quickly, gives baby soft skin instantly. This one also vanishes into the skin and does not leave any residue on top. The moisturization lasts all day. I feel this will suit all skin types, even the oily skin people will love this the most as it is not as thick as compared to the others yet equally moisturizing. This is ideal for all seasons as well, you won’t feel heavy or dry with this one.
Last but not the least Deyga Baby Butter, specially formulated for your baby’s delicate skin. It is semi-solid, kind of half melted in summer and it kinda looks heavy. Highly moisturizing and equally hydrating. This one also vanishes after some time, leaves nothing on top of my skin but my skin feels insanely soft. It stays put all day and I don’t feel the need to moisturize the next morning as well. Babies have very thin and delicate skin and their skin is very prone to moisture loss. On my normal skin I require this one in the least amount. The way this baby butter locks in moisture is indeed commendable, which makes it ideal for your baby’s skin. It has a faintly sweet aroma of the oils & butters and very thick buttery texture. Even adults with very dry, damaged and dehydrated skin can safely use this.
To sum up my experience with Deyga Body Butters is simply amazing, I am insanely happy and kinda surprised with the kind of results I have seen. I adore how a heavy butter literally vanishes into the skin and work wonders like these butters do.
Pros
- Organic, cruelty free, no added preservatives.
- Thick and concentrated, so you require really less and one tub lasts very long. Very cost effective.
- Heavy-duty moisturizer, last all day.
- Hydrate and deeply nourish.
- Leaves no greasiness or tacky feeling on top of skin.
- Comes in four different variants to serve every skin’s needs.
Con
None, I do not see any con in these body butters. Yes there is essential oils in one particular variant and that one is not for sensitive skin people but then it is an absolute delight for aromatherapy lovers. So choose accordingly.
