Today I'm going to talk about the Generic Phenovo makeup brushes. I have recently purchased these from amazon. I was skeptical about buying these brushes because they are unbelievably cheap for the description given there. Different brands offer a single brush at this price and this one comes in a set of 10 brushes😲! But I was convinced to get them thinking that I won't be wasting so much of money but I can save a lot if they turn out to be really good😏. So today I'll be sharing my experience with these makeup brushes. So let's get into the review.

Packaging

The packaging is nothing fancy. This set comes in a khadi drawstring pouch. Inside this pouch the brushes are neatly wrapped in a transparent plastic bag. The Generic makeup brush set does not come with a travel friendly pouch.

My Experience


I love good makeup brushes but also I keep looking for affordable alternatives. Investing in good makeup brushes is always a good idea. Now a days everyone is conscious about makeup products (thanks to the internet) so the demand for good makeup brushes are going high, hence a lot of affordable options are available online these days. Now coming back to this specific product which I have been eyeing for quite a long time. I'm so happy that this beauty has finally made its place into my vanity and I love it. The Generic Phenovo makeup brush set offers good quality brushes. These are made of synthetic hair that makes it long lasting and affordable at the same time because brushes with natural hair are very expensive and hard to take care of. The wooden handle is sturdy and easy to handle. A good quality aluminium connector tube holds the bristles neatly. The bristles are very dense and super soft to my skin. The large brushes can be used for building the base, blending purpose.

The tapered highlighter brush is really good I love this one the most. The smaller brushes though are not actually eye brushes. These are rather the smaller versions of the same face brushes so you get only five different brushes of two different size each. They can be used for eye makeup though. It is a good pick for beginners to get a full face makeup but if you love dramatic eye makeup then these brushes are not for you, you have to get eye shadow brushes separately. This set just lacks the eye shadow applicator brushes and only two of them can be used for eyes. Basically these are just good blending brushes for a full face makeup.

With the different shapes and sizes of bristles I find it easy to reach all the difficult areas of my face like bridge of the nose, corner of the eye, brow bone etc. So this set is perfect for a simple full face makeup.

Also it is too much to expect more from a product this cheap. If you are a beginner or a college goer or if you are looking for budget brushes then this is the perfect product for you. You can always get some more brushes separately if you need. After all ten fluffy brushes under 300 is a great deal.

No. I already have a lot of blending brushes. But I highly recommend this one for beginners.
