Hey everyone!
This is a review and swatch article about a lipstick brand that I have discovered very recently. It is called Mistral of Milan. They have various range of lipsticks including liquid and matte variants. This particular lipstick was gifted to me. Then I searched online and found out more about the brand and it's other products. So lets get into the review now.Price

The Mistral of Milan Starlight lipstick comes in a silver coloured regular cardboard box packaging. The shade name and number, other details are written on the sides of the outer packaging. The lipstick bullet comes in a sleek stainless steel package that makes it look like a very expensive product. The shade name and no is written on the bottom of the bullet. Also the expiry date is printed on the body so it is convenient enough to use it if you do not wish to retain the outer packaging.Description
The outer packaging label reads
- High shine and rich pigment

My Experience
As the name suggests, this starlight lipstick has a soft creamy formula but feels a bit waxy against lips when applying. The pigment and color payoff are up to the mark. The application is patchy when my lips are dry. So I have to prep my lips with moisturizer before applying this lipstick. Now coming to the shade, it is not a peach shade as the name suggests. It is a blue based pink. The shade luscious peach is quite a loud colour for everyday wear but it is still wearable. The shade 026 luscious peach looks like warm pink under natural light but under artificial lights it looks like a subtle, cool toned pink. This lipstick stays put for a good 3-4 hours but fades if you eat or drink and transfers a lot. After 3-4 hours it fades but stains my lips beautifully. I prefer to wear it after smudging with a tissue because it looks better when mattified but then most of the colour gets transferred into the tissue paper. So building the colour is a bit difficult. This particular shade will suit mostly fair to medium skin specifically people with pink undertone. I did not experience dryness or chapping while wearing this lipstick so it is moisturizing. Now the only thing that bothers me is the price because a lipstick priced at Rs.500 so it is not budget friendly for everyone. Spending 500 bucks for a lipstick like this is not a good invest when there are so many better options available at this price. A dupe for this shade is also not hard to find. Also they have not disclosed the ingredients, there is just no mention of ingredients at all, so it is needless to say that this product if full of chemicals. Since I received it as a gift so I'll continue using it but I do not wish to buy any other shade from this range nor do I recommend this to anyone.
