The winter is just around the corner an we can feel the chills in the air already. Today's post is for all the dry skinned beauties out there who must be worrying about dryness problems because winter just worsens the dryness. Dove has dropped their body creams in India and I have grabbed one. So without wasting further time let's get into the review.

Price


This product comes in two sizes which are priced at Rs.299 for 250 ml and Rs.119 for 150 ml. I got the large one for Rs.225 on Amazon.

Packaging


The Dove Rich Nourishment Cream comes in classic tub container. The white lid of the tub bears the logo and name of the product. Ingredients and other details are written at the base of the tub whereas the price, expiry date etc are printed on the body of the tub. Beneath the lid there's a silvery foil sheet that seals the cream inside the tub safely so that the product does not spread on the lid. The entire thing is quite cute and safe for travelling.

My Experience


I have dry skin which gets even more dry during winters. I cannot do without a good moisturizing cream because body lotions just don't work that well for me as I reach out for them in every now and then. I was perfectly happy using Himalaya Cocoa Butter Body Cream but seeing this one from dove made me purchase it. I am quite a big fan of Dove products. Dove Rich Nourishment Skin Cream is a thick white colored cream that provides good hydration, moisturisation and nourishment all day. I apply the dove rich nourishment cream after bath all over my body and do not feel the need to reapplication for the day. The container is not too big, perfect to clutch, the lid locks tightly. It smells like the dove body lotion with same name. I love the smell of this cream and it stays on my skin for like 3 to 4 hours. Though the brand claims that it is light weight I feel it is not that much of a light weight cream, but the heaviness lasts for about 30 minutes or so which I don't mind because it's better than the itchy dry skin. I even apply a little bit of this cream on my feet at night and wake up with soft feet. So it has replaced my foot ream already. My skin feels softer, well moisturized for a whole day. I love how Dove Rich Nourishment Cream is working on me as I know I won't feel the itchy dry skin this winter.

  1. Contains a lot of chemicals which is a turn off for me and some other people too.
  2. Feels slightly heavy, not ideal for oily skinned people.

Probably no because of the parabens in it. There are loads of option available in the market these days which are preservative free.
