Innsifree Capsule Recipe Packs are clay based masks with some active ingredients like tea tree & bija, volcanic cluster etc. They are affordable and extremely travel friendly, comes in a small sized container. If you are looking for deep pore cleansing, acne healing, oil controlling yet non-drying clay based masks then you are definitely gonna love these two variants.
I got introduced to K-beauty products very recently and I have been enjoying them very much. I knew these capsule recipe packs since long but never thought of trying them until my skin broke out and nothing seemed to be working at that time. So I bought two variants as per my (then) skin concerns, i.e. acne and congested pores and today I’ll be talking about my experience with these two. So let’s get into the review.
Price and Availability
Innisfree capsule recipe packs are pried at Rs.150 for 10ml of product. They have several variants to choose from. These are widely available in various online stores. Innisfree products are widely available online, click here to get them.
Packaging
Since the capsule recipe packs are mini [trial] sizes so the packaging is definitely small and travel friendly. It comes in a cute tub sealed with a foil and a lid. This entire thing is very secure and air tight so once the seal is broken the outer lid can protect the mask. The mask itself is thick so no chances of spillage is there. I love how cute these packs look. These cases can be used later for storing small things too.

My Experience
Tea Tree & Bija: As we all know tea tree has anti bacterial and sebum control properties, bija seeds on the other hand have excellent skin soothing and smoothening properties. Together they give smooth radiant skin, soothes acne, inflammation, itchiness, enhances glow, removes oil from pores too. In short these are everything that I experienced while using this Bija and Tea Tree pack. I love how soft and buttery the texture this face pack has, it glides onto my face and neck effortlessly, dries pretty quickly and leaves my skin squeaky clean which is why I absolutely love this face pack. This single capsule recipe pack lasted me a total of six applications which is really good for this price and quantity. It didn’t help with cystic acne though but it did soothe them, minute breakouts were gone after 2-3 applications so it does work well on acne. Since my skin is oily to combination and I feel a little dry after each usage I do not recommend this to dry skin people. Oily to combination skin people grab this pack right now, you will love this.
Volcanic Cluster: Volcanic cluster is hardened lava that has oil absorbing properties. It targets congested pores, unclogs and minimizes them. This variant also removed oil and dirt from pores, revealing a smooth and glowing skin but the effects are not that striking. I has to use this a couple of times and then I could really see the difference it made to my skin. In other words this one requires a little bit of patience but it definitely works. I used to apply a thin layer allover my face and neck and this little capsule lasted me a total of 5 application which is again great for the price. I recommend this one to everyone dealing with skin congestion, it is not that drying on skin so dry skin people too can use this, given that you have to follow up with a moisturizer.
Pros
- Compact, cute, secure packaging, like they are designed to travel with.
- Very effective, does what it claims.
- Extremely affordable despite coming from a high end brand. These can be your monthly face masks which lasts only a month’s usage.
- Lasts up to 6 applications if used a thin layer each time.
- They have super smooth, almost butter like consistency. Gliding the pack on wet skin is super satisfying.
- Give a very calming sensation which is why I love using these during summer and monsoon.
- Skin gets better with continuous usage. If skin congestion and inflamed acne are your biggest issues then these two variants are made for your skin.
- Has no extra or unwanted ingredients and Innisfree being one of the leading K-beauty brand maintains the transparency with ingredients list.
Cons
- They dry up pretty quickly. So you have finish using once you open them within a maximum of one month’s time. After that the pack will be too dry and hard.
- A bit difficult to wash off but that’s not really a con for me. Some people may not like this though.
My Rating
Tea Tree- 4.5/5
Volcanic Cluster- 4/5
Will I Repurchase?
