Dealing with hormonal imbalance has its own perks and one of them is cystic acne. I had lots of hard and brown (read cystic type) acne along the jaw line which basically left prominent marks on my face even after they dried up. I was lucky enough to receive this particular product which is a vitamin C serum and it instantly became my favorite.

Jumiso All Day Vitamin Brightenig and Balancing Serum is priced at Rs.1700 for 30 ml quantity and currently available on Beauty Barn India's website, you can buy it from there. Currently all the Jumiso products are only available online, on Beauty Barn India only. I participated in their reviewer's giveaway program and got selected, so I received this as a gift for reviewing.

Packaging

This little guy comes in a cute orange colored glass bottle (the serum is colorless). Both the bottle and the dropper are made of glass but it seems very strong and sturdy to hold, so no worries of breakage or spillage. The dropper actually makes application easier AF and it controls the drops so amazingly. The glass bottle has the logo and the name of the product printed on it while the outer cardboard packaging bears all the details.

Ingredients

This Vitamin Brightening and Balancing Serum from Jumiso has two key ingredients - vitamin tree extract 86.14% and niacinamide 20,000ppm which is a very high concentration. The ingredients' list is actually quite long and impressive. I like most of the stuffs used in it. Here it is,

My Experience

Okay so let's start with the horrible cystic acne story. My hormonal acne were spreading allover my cheeks which literally freaked me out. So I consulted a good doctor who introduced me to glycolic acid based products. Well it did heal my acne but I hated the fact that it made my skin super sensitive. So once the break outs were under control I was planning to get a vitamin C serum or something because serums are always the best way to tackle spots and blemishes. Then Jumiso sent me this amazing product for reviewing. Once I received the products I immediately I started using  this All Day Vitamin Serum right from day one. By this time I had only a few acne here and there but my cheeks were full of brown acne spots. Since this is a non-water based serum I used three drops of this serum on a cleansed face, massaged it in and left it to absorb for the next ten minutes. It did not feel sticky any way, a colorless thick yet light weight serum, just the perfect fluid consistency that your skin would love to drink. It got absorbed withing thirty seconds. Since I have combi skin I honestly did not feel the urge to apply anything after this serum, it made my skin soft and super smooth to touch. This baby literally added a healthy radiance to my skin. There is no way you can feel like you are wearing anything on your skin and that's the best part about this serum. With only a few days of continuous usage (twice daily) my skin has gone lighter and brighter that even my mother could tell the visible difference. There is absolutely no tan or dullness on my skin. Not only that there is a beautiful radiance that makes my skin look so so gorgeous. The acne spots are going lighter but taking a little time though. They are almost invisible from a distance now. A serum that removes stubborn acne spots only in a weak is definitely effective as hell, no more words needed to describe how amazingly effective it is. Highly highly recommended to each and everyone out there.

  2. Contains some amazing botanical extracts.
  3. Non-water based and high concentration serum.
  4. Contains multi vitamins and niacinamide as key ingredients.
  5. Works like magic, makes skin visibly brighter in no time.
  6. Fade any dark spot, blemish, tan, adds a healthy glow to the skin.
  7. Very light weight and non greasy. Feels like nothing on the skin, gets absorbed very quickly.
  8. Can be used under creams, foundation etc.
  9. Super effective, does what it claims.

Cons

None, I actually cannot find anything negative about this particular product. It just worths every single penny.
