How To Use A Wrong Shade Of Foundation
Ever purchased a wrong shade of foundation and kept it in a corner? Well you can actually use it to in so many ways. This article is all about how to use a wrong shade of foundation.
We all love shopping online right! But sometimes we end up buying wrong shades of foundation. Well the display of shades are confusing enough to decide which one is your right shade. So what to do now? Throw it away or keep it in a corner thinking someday it may come to use! Also you must have tried mixing two shades but failed to get the right shade. Well I’ve got you covered. Next time try these hacks rather than mixing two foundation shades and you’ll never waste any of the product.
If The Foundation Is Darker Than Your Skin Tone
Apply foundation evenly on your face. Now using a light shade of concealer draw contour lines below the cheekbones, under the eyes in triangular shape, on the bridge of the nose, on the forehead and between the brows, around lips and chin. Basically apply the concealer the way you will apply highlighter on the high points of your face plus use it below the cheekbones till jaw line to hide the dark foundation. Blend well to eliminate harsh lines. Use some blush on the cheeks and voila you have got the perfectly sculpted tanned look like Kim Kardashian 😃😄
If The Foundation Is Lighter Than Your Skin Tone
Apply foundation evenly. Now contour using a dark cream contour as usual. The lighter shaded foundation will act as a face brightening concealer here. So you can save both time and money by skipping the concealer here. Since the foundation is lighter than your skin tone it will hide your dark spots too.
As Lip Primer For The Perfectly Tinted Lips
If the foundation is lighter in shade then apply it on your lips as a lipstick base. The lipstick is going to look much more lighter and brighter in colour. Now smudge it a little using your fingertips and get nicely tinted lips.
To Make Nude Lips From Dark Lipstick
Apply a light coat of light shade foundation to make a dark lipstick pale and a heavy coat to get nude lips.
As Eye Shadow Base
To get the bright eyed look or to make the winged eyeliner pop apply light shade foundation on the eyelids and get instantly brighter looking eyes.
As Brow Contour
Apply light foundation below the brow bone to contour your eyebrows.
As Nude Eye Shadow
Just dab some dark shade of foundation on the eyelids followed by a setting powder and get your eyeliner done. Keep it simple and fresh. The dark foundation will act as nude eye-shadow.
As Strobing Cream
Mix foundation with highlighter to make your own strobing cream.
As Cream Blush
Mix powder blush with foundation to make cream blush which lasts longer than the ordinary one. You can store and carry this with you too.
